Client:

Destination:
A semi-custom brand kit and 5-page website for a new tech company in Edmonton

Journey Style:
contemporary, warm, polished, trustworthy

When Sasha started Axiom Vantage, a Microsoft 365 migration consultancy, he knew he needed a website. So he put together a quick one-page site and got his new business online.

It did the job of being a website. But the design and branding didn’t feel right, and the messaging leaned a little too technical for the kind of business he was building.

Sasha wanted to offer specialized IT support in a way that made things easier for his clients:

  • Fixed project scopes

  • One person handling the work

  • After-hours cutovers

  • No ongoing retainer

His website needed to make that clear, while still showing clients he had the technical expertise to handle the job.

The Challenge

Axiom Vantage helps businesses move email, calendars, and other data into Microsoft 365, bring separate systems together, and strengthen security.

Which sounds straightforward enough until you get into the details.

There are different platforms to move from, different systems to consolidate, and different reasons a business might need Sasha’s help. Some clients have an internal IT team that knows exactly what a tenant consolidation involves. Others just know their company is changing and they need to make sure nobody’s emails disappear along the way.

The website needed to speak to both.

The challenge was finding the middle ground: enough technical detail to show Sasha knows his stuff, with enough warmth and clarity that someone outside the IT department could follow along.

And visually? We wanted the same balance. Clean and modern, yes. But also connected to his hometown, Edmonton, and warmer than the tech-company branding he’d seen elsewhere.

The Solution:

We customized the Quiet Hours brand kit and built a custom five-page Squarespace website that brought Axiom Vantage’s technical and personal sides together.

Quiet Hours gave Sasha a modern, grounded starting point, with a full set of brand elements that suited his timeline and budget. Samara then brought in colours inspired by Edmonton’s river valley: earthy and warm, with subtle patterns that nod to the technical side of his work.

She carried that local connection into the website with curated photos of Edmonton and its natural surroundings. The finished site feels clean and professional, but it still has some warmth to it.

On the copy side, Isobel focused on making Sasha’s services understandable without stripping out the details that matter. That meant explaining the different scenarios that might bring someone to Axiom Vantage and showing clients what they can expect along the way.

Of course, it’s not an In Tandem Studios project if copy and design don’t work together.

When Isobel got stuck trying to explain all the different platforms Sasha could move data from, Samara had an idea.

Instead of making the copy do all the explaining, she created a visual for the services page. Visitors can see where their current platform fits and how it connects to the service Sasha offers.

A little copy-and-design teamwork, in action.

The Results:

Sasha came out of the project with a brand and website that finally felt right for Axiom Vantage: warm and approachable, with the technical expertise his clients expect.

And when we sent everything over for review, Sasha was thrilled. He loved the brand, loved the copy, and loved the website.

For a new business owner who’d been feeling like his first website didn’t represent him, we’d call that a pretty good place to start.
